  If you are after a big city experience you are in the wrong place but for anyone who remembers their childhood experiences of Chinese in the 70's and 80's this is a real gem right down to the particularly folded napkins and the Banquet menus that still feature prawn cocktails.

  One example; one of the owners kids was serving as well - my mother-in-law had dropped her spoon, the 'waiter' picked it up off the floor and handed it back to us... Didn't see the kitchen...

  Play the game and see if you can get something on a sizzling plate, something with that iridescent plum coloured sweet and sour sauce, a lemon chicken and fried ice cream, its all there.

  I'm guessing this is the first independent review of this restaurant. Clean and bright with lovely, local wait staff. The food = bland, unauthentic and smothered in MSG.
